Technical ownership of manufacturing processes, products, and equipment

Ability to work under limited supervision in accordance with federal, state, local laws/regulations, and Corporate J&J procedures/guidelines

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive engineering activities to develop and implement effective, high-quality processes and design guidelines for division-wide dissemination
Provide complex design reviews and feedback for improvements in manufacturability
Develop equipment, materials, and process performance requirements; perform vendor searches and equipment evaluation to ensure capability for quality products at effective costs
Design experiments and capability studies; develop process specifications; design and procure process tooling
Analyze new processes and equipment for continuous improvement of present methods
Communicate and monitor process and material quality targets
Measure performance to targets and implement remedial actions as instructed
Develop process documentation and training materials for new processes, materials, and equipment
Support timely execution of quality actions related to scrap, holds, audits, NCR, and CAPA
Support daily operations through attendance at pul (likely pulldown or production meetings)
