  • Knowledge of leading ISO 14971-based risk analysis, from hazard identification to mitigation
  • Experience collaborating on verification and validation plans, including requirement tracing and test strategies
  • Ability to conduct hands-on ad-hoc testing of software systems
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum execution, including planning, estimating, scheduling, and task completion
  • Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with internal and external teams
  • Experience interfacing with manufacturing, field service, operations, and customer training during design transfer
  • Ability to address product complaints and issues with impact assessments on requirements and risks
  • Commitment to upholding compliance with product development processes and quality system standards

Responsibilities

  • Drive best practices in software systems development and product lifecycles using Agile PDLC/SDLC and Systems Engineering methodologies in collaboration with development and verification teams
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to a distributed R&D team
  • Develop innovative technical solutions to complex software system challenges within tight deadlines
  • Assist in establishing robust system and software architectures for digital applications
  • Identify and capture user needs for digital applications and translate them into system requirements; lead cross-functional teams for integration
  • Write, maintain, and own system-level and software-level design inputs/requirements, ensuring QMS and regulatory compliance
  • Lead ISO 14971-based risk analysis activities, including hazard identification and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with verification engineers to define test strategies for system and software verification/validation plans using requirement tracing
  • Conduct ad-hoc testing of in-development and developed software systems
  • Enforce and support Agile/Scrum planning, estimating, scheduling, and task completion
  • Drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance processes, practices, and technical mentorship
  • Interface with manufacturing, field service, operations, and customer training staff throughout the design transfer process
  • Ensure prompt resolution of product complaints and issues with impact assessments on requirements and risks
  • Uphold compliance with product development processes and quality system standards
