Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solution Architecture roles
  • Strong, hands-on expertise in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its ecosystem — particularly for Data, AI/ML, and App Modernization
  • Proven experience designing or supporting Data Engineering, Analytics, or Generative AI initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, LOEs, and SOWs for complex engagements
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills — able to engage both technical and business audiences
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across Sales, Delivery, and Product teams in global setups
  • Strong problem-solving skills — able to break down complex requirements into actionable and scalable solutions
  • Familiarity with programming languages (Java/Python) and frontend frameworks (Angular/React.js)
  • Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps concepts
  • Self-starter attitude — curious, adaptable, and comfortable balancing detail with big-picture thinking
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to Multi-cloud environments (AWS or Azure)
  • Nice to Have: Experience working with US-based clients or distributed teams
  • Nice to Have: GCP Certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead client discovery sessions to understand goals and constraints; design tailored, cloud-native solutions aligned with business needs
  • Deliver engaging demos, workshops, and walkthroughs showcasing the impact of GCP-powered solutions in Data, AI/ML, and Agentic domains
  • Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to create proposals, LOEs, and SOWs — including solution architectures, timelines, and commercial models
  • Advise clients on best practices, integration strategies, and deployment patterns across the GCP ecosystem
  • Support the Sales Cycle: Assist in RFP/RFI responses, crafting solution narratives, and participating in client presentations
  • Build trust with technical and business stakeholders, managing queries and expectations throughout the sales journey
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs, shared success criteria, and alignment on client outcomes
  • Stay current with GCP advancements, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Represent Egen in client forums, webinars, and solution showcases
  • Contribute to internal solution accelerators, prototypes, and reference architectures for repeatable success
