Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Hybrid Salary Range: $148,000 - $287,500 USD (based on location, experience, and pay equity)

Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its applied AI team for chip design. This role offers the opportunity to leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence to revolutionize the chip industry. You will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and product development, transforming innovative ideas into real-world solutions. Collaborate closely with researchers to design and scale AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, tool usage, and code generation, mirroring the capabilities of human engineers. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the core infrastructure for deploying and running these agents in production, ensuring the seamless and efficient performance of all agentic tools and applications. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Play a key role in the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, high-performance, enterprise-ready agent frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering and applied AI teams to understand chip design needs and challenges, ensuring the agent platform meets these requirements.
  • Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, and images) to build advanced AI applications.
  • Collect and organize training/fine-tuning data and contribute to building domain-specific large language models.
  • Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring secure and efficient data management.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Lead with purpose and maintain high-quality engineering practices that inspire excellence.

Requirements

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of proven industry experience.
  • Skilled at rapidly taking products from concept to launch and scaling them massively through performance tuning and optimizing complex, globally distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with modern software development stacks and tools, including containerization, cloud or on-premises deployments, API integration, and real-time processing frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Message broker architectures, data pipelines, and test-driven development.
  • Strong proficiency in agentic LLM Libraries/Technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, RAGs, vector databases, prompt engineering, and Knowledge Graphs.
  • Hands-on experience developing large-scale web applications and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
  • An excellent plus: Familiarity with front-end development using React or Vue.js.
