Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Manufacturing/cost accounting experience

Responsibilities

  • Monthly general ledger close and support for assigned plants
  • Detect and correct obvious errors during the closing process
  • Review monthly operating statements and balance sheets for reasonableness, ensuring that financial statements are complete and accurate
  • Support and maintain various division and business unit financial processes
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned
  • Prepare and maintain various reports, as assigned
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with plant personnel
  • Analyze and report plant operational performance; utilize data to monitor and validate performance by machine, by department, or by shift
  • Maintain a high quality and professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Partner with FP&A team on budgets, forecasts and standards
  • Stay up to date with accounting concepts, practices and procedures
  • Responsible for maintaining strong internal controls
  • Participate in plant audits
  • Support physical inventory and fixed asset counts
  • Identify opportunities to improve standardization and process for efficiency of tasks; implement new procedures as required by leadership
