Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
3+ years of related experience
Manufacturing/cost accounting experience

Responsibilities

Monthly general ledger close and support for assigned plants
Detect and correct obvious errors during the closing process
Review monthly operating statements and balance sheets for reasonableness, ensuring that financial statements are complete and accurate
Support and maintain various division and business unit financial processes
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, as assigned
Prepare and maintain various reports, as assigned
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with plant personnel
Analyze and report plant operational performance; utilize data to monitor and validate performance by machine, by department, or by shift
Maintain a high quality and professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers
Partner with FP&A team on budgets, forecasts and standards
Stay up to date with accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Responsible for maintaining strong internal controls
Participate in plant audits
Support physical inventory and fixed asset counts
Identify opportunities to improve standardization and process for efficiency of tasks; implement new procedures as required by leadership
