Experience in strategy (start-up, consulting, etc.) - ability to make decisions & challenge managers’ decisions, taking into account company strategy, budget, people dynamics
Strong understanding of the US employment market for tech start-ups

Strong interest in people topics, ideally some experience with communication, feedback, performance or other people frameworks
Location: Boston (could fit someone based in Paris with strong knowledge of the US market)
Responsibilities
Support the excom in building the team & processes that will reach 2026 and onwards objectives (Revenue generation, Customer satisfaction, installation at scale)
Define & run Sonio’s performance framework holistically
Run the performance review cycles end-to-end
Continuously improve the incentive system & salary grid to reward performance fairly across the team
Ensure metrics used to follow performance are robust
Coach, Train & Support managers to guarantee a great management experience for each employee in line with our culture of performance and care
Own the overall training plan for the company (€100k+ budget) to ensure we have the right team & skills to address business challenges
As the first US-hire in the HR team, focus specifically on the US, ensuring best-in-class employee experience and supporting some operational tasks in the US
