Candidates should possess 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on performance and scale testing, expertise in designing and developing performance tests, particularly for data-intensive applications and data streams processing, and hands-on experience with Cloud environments such as AWS or Azure, along with Docker and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. A strong understanding of resource management in Linux or Windows is also required.
The Senior Performance Engineer will effectively communicate performance test plans and results to cross-functional teams and management, develop and run performance tests at scale to identify bottlenecks and anomalous behavior, root cause performance issues and collaborate with development teams to implement improvements, develop tools and frameworks for performance testing using JS/TS/NodeJS, Docker, and AWS/Azure, and integrate performance testing into continuous testing systems and reporting of performance metrics.
