Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights. Experience with physiological data is preferred, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Sigma or HEX is required, alongside proven experience in writing SQL and experience with the AWS cloud platform. Knowledge of machine learning techniques and methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Observability Analyst at WHOOP, you will develop and deploy robust monitoring and observability tools to track offline and production ML model performance, enabling internal stakeholders to evaluate data quality metrics and implement corrective measures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and use cases, contribute to solution design, and partner closely with teams to support new algorithm rollouts, ensuring real-time performance aligns with expectations. Additionally, you will stay informed on emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into data engineering processes, and leverage AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to drive efficiency and innovation in data quality monitoring.
