Requirements

  • Extensive technical background in data networking and security products support, predominantly in Cisco Routing and Switching, Wireless products, and network security/firewalls
  • Desirable experience with SDWAN, MS Azure, Solarwinds, and Thousand Eyes
  • Ability to provide Level 3 and advanced technical support onsite at customer premises Mon-Fri during business hours
  • Australian citizenship required for account security reasons
  • Based predominantly at customer premises in Adelaide Metro area, with possible work from home by customer approval

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily network operational support within the scope of managed support services contract, maintaining network operability within SLAs using DXC ITIL framework for incident, change, and problem management
  • Participate in network on-call rosters as required and work onsite at customer premises during business hours
  • Involve in planning and rollout of customer data networks, liaising with DXC Project Management, responsible for install and rollout, resourcing work with Technical Support Manager Data, and engaging subcontractors
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors for technical data support to customers under maintenance contracts or T&M rates; own fault resolution through to completion, coordinating field service or subcontractors if needed onsite
  • Manage escalation of complex issues to vendors and seek resolution within predefined time frames
  • Troubleshoot networks with technical and service delivery teams during P1 and P2 cases
  • Attend internal CAB meetings, customer Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings, and onsite/remote conference calls during P1 and P2 incidents to provide updates to DXC internal teams and customers
