Expertise in routing, switching, and security for data and voice networks
Knowledge of email, messaging, video and voice conferencing, audio visual equipment, and unified communications systems

Responsibilities

Closely adhere to defined Global IT Service Management processes (change management, incident management, problem management, service level management, knowledge management, and request fulfillment)
Ensure operational stability of network, security, and voice environment at all global locations
Provide level 2/3 and above support for global network, security, or voice issues in line with defined SLAs and OLAs
Hand over unresolved critical/high priority incidents to other global team members with detailed supporting documentation at the end of normal working hours or under coordination of Manager for off-hours incidents
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to/troubleshoot incidents for any global location outside business hours (nights and weekends)
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues
Communicate with vendors on service changes and/or hardware/software orders and coordinate subsequent activities
Create and maintain published documentation for technical procedures, policies, and standard processes related to network and communications infrastructure
Design and implement network, security, and voice infrastructure to facilitate business requirements in alignment with Global IT standards
Collaborate with project team members, providing technical expertise, assisting in creation of detailed task plans, executing activities, and communicating status
Research new technologies to stay informed on networking industry standards and best practices; make recommendations to Manager for technology roadmap
Implement, administer, and monitor security solutions, standards, and policies in accordance with IKO’s Information Security Framework; investigate possible security breaches as part of incident management team
Provide representation of network/security/voice group in audits
Additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Global Network and Communications
