Requirements

Life sciences degree (ideally combined with a science Masters or PhD)
Approximately 3–4 years’ relevant writing experience
Previous medical writing experience from a medical communications or pharma environment
Experience across a broad range of projects and/or therapy areas
Ideally, experience of attending and supporting clients at scientific meetings (congresses, symposia, advisory boards, etc.)
Experience of reviewing, proofing, and editing other writers’ work
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver scientifically accurate content for client projects
Adapt content and style according to client objectives and target audiences
Liaise with a range of medical experts
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, good publication practices, and industry guidelines
Mentor junior writers
Review and provide feedback on other writers’ projects
