Requirements

  • Established scientific and clinical knowledge lead on current and future J&J Innovative Medicine products in Immunology therapeutic area
  • Ability to stay abreast of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic areas of interest
  • Competency and experience in the disease state as an MSL
  • Foundational competencies in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination
  • Skills in agility, Change Management, Time Management, and Innovation
  • Ability to function with high integrity and follow credo values
  • Willingness to travel 80%, primarily throughout assigned geography (Alabama/Panhandle: Birmingham, AL; Jacksonville, FL), with infrequent travel outside

Responsibilities

  • Provide fair balanced, objective, scientific information and education to opinion leaders (OLs), health care professionals, and internal partners as required by scientific and business needs
  • Provide research support for company and investigator-initiated research
  • Build external relationships with identified OLs and health care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., biocoordinators) through virtual and in-person engagements, prioritizing in-person when appropriate
  • Develop and manage a geographical territory, including developing and maintaining a territory strategic plan with educational activities for OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices
  • Rapidly identify and compliantly collaborate with field-based partners to support Healthcare Providers and positively impact patients
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines
