Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience in mechanical design or application engineering within the subsea oil & gas sector
Strong understanding of Subsea Production Systems, with detailed knowledge of Subsea Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers and their associated tooling
Proficient in the use of engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, MathCAD, Teamcenter)
Experience of requirement management and interface management, and proficiency in the use of relevant software (e.g. DOORs, SmartPDF)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

Leading mechanical engineering input for subsea tenders, studies, and early engagement activities
Interpreting client specifications and translate them into compliant, cost-effective technical solutions
Developing and reviewing mechanical designs, layouts, and technical documentation for subsea systems and components
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, sourcing, and project engineering
Providing technical support to commercial teams during bid preparation and client presentations
Ensuring solutions meet applicable industry standards (API, ISO), internal design practices, and customer requirements
Mentoring junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team
Supporting risk assessments, design reviews, and lessons learned activities
