Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience within a production environment; preferably in a strongly regulated environment like Medical Devices
  • Experience in leading and developing teams
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) in Dutch and English and comfortable to work in an international environment
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, preferably qualified as Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of ERP systems, PowerBI and planning tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensures production goals are met in terms of output, quality, and cost by managing production schedules, allocating resources, and resolving issues efficiently
  • Oversees optimal availability, reliability, and maintenance of production and R&D equipment to support continuous operations
  • Manages daily Facilities tasks and serves as the main operational contact for external Facility service providers
  • Handles day-to-day EHS and security-related activities and contributes actively as a member of the EHS team
  • Leads and develops (senior) operators and equipment technicians, ensuring efficient staffing and continuous personnel development
  • Collaborates closely with engineering and supply chain teams, makes budgetary recommendations for capital expenditures and labor, and ensures strict adherence to the Quality Management System
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives across production to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Responsible for all production activities ranging from small volume rapid prototyping series to higher volume pilot line manufacturing
  • Looks after day-to-day operations in Production, Maintenance & Calibration, Facilities, and EHS & security
  • Manages a rapidly growing team of operators and equipment technicians
