Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on manual testing. They should be proficient in creating and executing test plans and test cases, familiar with test management and bug tracking tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, and JIRA, and have a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
The Senior Manual QA Engineer will design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business and technical requirements, perform different types of testing including functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), log and manage defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product workflows and improve test coverage, participate in sprint planning and QA-related discussions within an Agile/Scrum environment, review product specifications and provide feedback from a testing perspective, and ensure all test documentation is up to date.
