Requirements

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman)
  • Good experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA,X-Ray,Azure, TestRail. Aqua)
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve test failures and enhance overall test coverage
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with manual testing of software applications across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define clear testing goals
  • Create and manage test assets: Design, document, and maintain test cases and test plans in a management tool, ensuring coverage and traceability
  • Execute end-to-end testing: Perform system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to validate functionality and identify defects
  • Analyze and report defects: Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Contribute to process improvement: Review and optimize test cases regularly, and provide input on story grooming and test effort estimation
  • Support UAT activities: Assist clients during User Acceptance Testing by providing training, guidance, and coordinating sign-off for releases
  • Collaborate with team members to improve and enhance the testing process
