Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading/managing strategic sourcing teams in multi-tier supply chains focused on construction, hospitality, or services
  • Bachelor's degree or above; MBA or quantitative discipline preferred
  • Experience working with centralized product development teams and single operational units preferred
  • Consulting experience (internal/external) preferred
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead strategic sourcing projects, considering all business drivers and their impact on operations, customers, and competitors
  • Conduct total cost/supply chain analysis, establish project budgets, manage approved budgets, and identify TCO reduction opportunities
  • Manage the full strategic sourcing process, including market assessments, RFP and bid strategy, change management, and supplier performance evaluation
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract drafting for goods and services
  • Interface with Shanghai Disneyland Resort business stakeholders to understand key drivers of the sourcing team
  • Identify synergy opportunities across functions and businesses
  • Participate in resort and business unit planning processes
  • Lead supplier diversity programs at the site to achieve business goals
  • Manage team, drive internal skills and capability development, and expand employee skill sets
  • Provide rationale and context to secure commitments from stakeholders
  • Engage colleagues organization-wide to optimize overall performance
  • Report sourcing progress and results to Director and executive team to support key decisions
  • Translate strategies into specific priorities, objectives, and action plans
  • Assist Director in supplier collaborations to identify/resolves issues, drive improvements, and uncover cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, partners, and government agencies
  • Demonstrate best practices in supplier management and sourcing/supply chain across the resort
