Requirements

  • Ability to manage research projects and partnerships, including scientific development and operational execution
  • Capability to lead COTA’s research projects from kick-off through completion in partnership with Research Senior Director and Data Scientists
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally at COTA to support operational execution of research activities, including data operations and finance/invoicing
  • Collaboration skills with Research and Medical team members on internal projects to expand and/or validate research offerings
  • Expertise or ability to gain expertise in oncology real-world data industry and oncology research/analytical methods
  • Project management skills, including leading meetings, triage of questions/issues, and development of project collateral (protocols, abstracts, posters, manuscripts)
  • Ability to represent research capabilities confidently to internal and external parties
  • Skills in examining analytical results for robustness, validity, and out-of-sample stability, and presenting findings to stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Manage research projects and partnerships, including scientific development and operational execution
  • Serve as the main project point of contact and accountable party for delivery of COTA’s research services
  • Lead project meetings, including scoping and recurring events, and create necessary project materials (e.g., project kick-off decks, meeting minutes)
  • In partnership with the Research team, develop research protocols, abstracts, posters, and/or manuscripts as needed by a project
  • Partner with COTA Business Development to expand research projects and partnerships
  • Confidently represent research capabilities to internal and external parties
  • Suggest, implement, and manage priorities for improvements to COTA’s research process based on research of the evolving space, business needs, and client feedback
  • Examine analytical results for robustness, validity, and out-of-sample stability and present findings to various stakeholders
  • Support project management of research projects, review and provide feedback on project collateral, contribute to internal/external meetings, lead development of project collateral, triage issues, run meetings, support Business Development in sales engagements, and collaborate cross-functionally on data, quality, and research needs
