Requirements

  • 6-8+ years experience in roles in product management, corporate strategy/product strategy, or at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand products and business, identify opportunities to create innovative customer experiences, while driving business growth
  • Help craft and deliver strategic product plans and resulting roadmaps using data, imagination, and understanding of traveler experience, industry, and e-commerce
  • Tackle complex business challenges, owning the definition, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives, driving the business forward
  • Establish and own relationships with senior internal partners in the Product & Technology divisions
  • Frame strategic tradeoffs both orally and in writing, while considering inputs from many Expedia teams
  • Manage complex webs of stakeholders, often with strongly held, differing opinions
  • Drive decision-making and alignment by working directly with senior leadership across Expedia Group
  • Closely track technology & travel trends, and competitive landscape to inform long-term product strategy; serve as a subject matter expert
  • In partnership with Finance and Planning, help allocate resources appropriately against key initiatives and estimate financial benefit & returns
