Requirements

Highly motivated individual with expertise in master data governance and management
Experience in Source to Settle (STS) business processes (Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Invoice Processing, Payments, Supplier Performance Management)
Knowledge of SAP master data management implementation, sustainment, and optimization
Ability to develop long-term roadmaps and implementation plans for SAP master data activities across Gilead and affiliates
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with program sponsors, process owners, and IT
Capability to support continuous improvement projects in master data creation, maintenance, and utilization
Understanding of data governance concepts including rules, policies, roles, workflows, quality, integrity, and lifecycle management
Experience establishing end-to-end linkages for master data between process areas and systems

Responsibilities

Ensure data quality management: accuracy, completeness, consistency, uniqueness of master data using tools and checks to identify duplicates or incomplete records
Create Data Quality Rules and build dashboards by material types to measure data quality
Build Data Dictionary at an attribute level defining ownership of each attribute
Establish attributes requiring Lists of Values (LOV) and ensure LOVs follow established data standards
Establish data standards and policies including naming conventions, required data fields by material type, and approval processes for new master data records
Define roles and responsibilities for creating/approving master data records, ensuring compliance with data policies, and auditing data accuracy/updates
Build Data Lineage to provide visibility into data origin, transformation, movement, and consumption across systems, processes, and operations
Document processes for data migration in cases of divestiture/acquisition, engaging strategically with relevant stakeholders
