Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and a CPA, CIA, or other relevant professional certification is strongly preferred. They must also have at least 10 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, and demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and reporting on complex audit projects across multiple business functions or regions. Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment practices, and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) is also necessary, along with familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and general IT and business controls.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Internal Audit Manager, the individual will lead and execute operational, financial, and compliance audits across Twilio’s business units, identify key risks and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, develop and maintain a robust audit pipeline, conduct detailed assessments and interviews, collaborate cross-functionally with finance, compliance, legal, and engineering teams, prepare clear audit reports and present findings to senior leadership, monitor and report on the status of corrective action plans, and stay current with regulatory developments and internal audit best practices.
