Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and hold CPA or similar certifications. Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate and guide personnel at various levels. A working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, COSO, and accounting processes is required, as are exceptional organizational skills and project management experience, including the management of large-scale/global initiatives.

Responsibilities

The Senior Internal Auditor will monitor and maintain the company's internal control framework to ensure compliance with SOX requirements, and oversee the implementation or revision of key financial controls when process changes or control gaps are identified. This role involves understanding complex business processes, interacting effectively with diverse business roles, translating risks into business issues, and helping to prioritize findings and recommendations. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining up-to-date process flowcharts, coordinating internal audit, external audit, and business resources, and conducting audits efficiently from beginning to end, often managing multiple projects concurrently.
