Requirements

The candidate should have over 10 years of experience in Field Engineering or a related technical sales role. A strong understanding of the Observability ecosystem and experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a team of Field Engineers are essential. Proven ability to partner with sales leadership, marketing, product management, and engineering teams is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Field Engineering will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing Field Engineering team across EMEA. This includes recruiting, mentoring, and coaching team members, as well as overseeing global Go-To-Market execution with sales leadership. The role involves driving top-of-funnel programs, influencing product roadmaps based on field feedback, and ensuring customer requirements are met through collaboration with Product Management and Engineering. Additionally, the manager will own and report on team performance, guiding prospects through evaluation processes such as discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and technical validation.
