Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a remediation program for ethics and compliance
  • Manage the remediation of risks identified through ethics investigations and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to design, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of remediation plans
  • Work with key business leaders to ensure corrective actions are timely and effectively implemented
  • Serve as a point of ethics case management escalation for Intake and Ethics Case Managers, business stakeholders, and investigators
  • Oversee and track reports of alleged violations through ethics reporting mechanisms (e.g., Tyson Ethics Line, Tell Tyson First)
  • Perform case management, including assessment and triage of reports, assigning to appropriate teams, and escalating highest risk reports
  • Review investigations to ensure fairness, consistency with governance, policy requirements, and law
  • Manage resolution and remediation of ethics reports
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to unethical behavior or policy violations across all levels of the organization, domestically and internationally
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, legal, and compliance teams to address risks and develop/implement remediation
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ethics remediation, including tracking from risk identification through completion
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management and external regulatory bodies on remediation progress, metrics, and challenges
  • Assist in preparing documentation and reporting for internal audit or external reviews related to ethics and investigations
  • Ensure consistent, fair, thorough resolution of ethics reports in compliance with policies, governance, and law
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of the ethics program and recommend improvements based on feedback, case outcomes, and industry best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement of the ethics and compliance program by identifying trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for processes, controls, and engagement
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements/challenges in case management and remediation processes
  • Oversee the ethics case management system, including access, workflow/process improvements, integration with other systems (e.g., Service Now, Workday), data integrity, documentation completeness, and confidentiality
  • Ensure the team is up to date with current trends, regulations, and emerging ethical issues
