Requirements

  • Proficiency in defining clear and actionable problem statements to help teams deliver results, with comprehensive understanding of iterative software delivery and thin-slice MVP grooming
  • Ability to leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development, advocating for and driving alignment between stakeholders in developing acceptance criteria
  • Obsession over UX/UI patterns to create world-class, omni-channel experiences
  • Ownership and prioritization of the near-term product roadmap to deliver business outcomes, identifying points of leverage in complex problems, and utilizing data to define success metrics
  • Balanced judgment in decisions about risks of actions taken and not taken, innovating on ways to iterate faster in a well-managed way
  • Understanding and leveraging of technology and end-state architecture vision to partner with technology teams on design decisions for white space technical problems
  • Ability to share business strategy and roadmap with Tech partners, lead and facilitate agile ceremonies alongside Tech Leads
  • Delivery of value through creating reusable, extensible, and resilient capabilities, proactively identifying opportunities when key metrics on sales, service, and customer engagement are not performing
  • Development and communication of a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams with transparency on risks and impediments
  • Proactive building of relationships outside immediate team for horizontal influence, contribution to team culture and recruiting, leading activities to attract/retain top talent, and mentoring junior product associates
  • Passion for hospitality and customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, sales, engineering, leadership) and external partners to grow and enhance Velocity Black’s luxury concierge offering, creating a premium experience exceeding customer expectations
  • Dream up and deliver new luxury concierge features and experiences in partnership with business partners
  • Optimize in-market products through rapid testing while obsessing over the customer experience
  • Think strategically to prioritize the roadmap in a way that balances business needs
  • Coordinate between stakeholders, engineering, and leadership to build a world-class product, working on customer-facing and internal products
