Requirements

  • Focuses on high-impact business items and contributes to strategic planning with actionable recommendations based on advanced research and analytics

  • Owns complex end-to-end projects for business areas, categories, or prototypes, managing implementation risks
  • Develops data models, algorithms, and approaches for complex projects to drive business results
  • Manages development, implementation, testing, validation, and evaluation of prototypes and production-ready algorithms
  • Leads advanced analytics development and execution for unique business/technical problems to support data-driven decisions
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., software engineering, category management, Categories, Customer Experience, Merchandising), functional leadership, external partners, and vendors
  • Drives execution of multiple business plans/projects by identifying needs, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and adapting
  • Provides supervision, training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and promotes belonging, ethics, compliance, and continuous learning
  • Evaluates effectiveness of plans, solicits improvements for efficiency/cost-effectiveness, and supports community outreach

Responsibilities

  • Consult with senior business partners to identify challenges, tactics, and success criteria with maximum business impact
  • Provide input and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic planning based on analytics
  • Build and lead teams to execute business/category objectives; coach, mentor, motivate, and develop team members
  • Own and manage end-to-end complex projects, including risk management
  • Develop and collaborate on implementing data models, algorithms, and solutions
  • Manage prototypes, production algorithms, testing, validation, and new technique evaluation
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Develop consultative solutions through cross-functional and external collaboration
  • Execute business plans by addressing needs, priorities, barriers, standards, progress, contingencies, and adaptability
  • Supervise associates: select/train/mentor/assign duties, set expectations, evaluate performance, recognize/reward, and foster belonging
  • Promote company policies, ethics, Open Door Policy, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure business needs are met by evaluating plans, consulting stakeholders, and applying efficiency suggestions
