Requirements

Candidates must possess a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning or a related field, accompanied by 2-3 years of professional experience, or alternatively, a Master’s degree in a similar field with 5-6 years of professional experience. Strong experience in NLP, deep learning, and generative models is required, along with proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. A solid understanding of model evaluation techniques and the ability to implement and deliver results via innovation at large scale are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Machine Learning Scientist will tackle challenges in advanced RAG technologies, Enterprise Knowledge Graphs, LLM Evaluations, Guardrails, Search Relevance, feedback-based learning, parameter-efficient fine-tuning, and responsible AI development, ensuring models are fair, transparent, and ethically sound. They will contribute to the development of Agentforce, a suite of autonomous AI agents, and participate in the evaluation and improvement of Salesforce’s AI models, driving unprecedented efficiency and customer satisfaction.
