Requirements
Candidates should have experience in IT support, particularly in a remote or fast-paced startup environment, and comfort with macOS, Linux, and mobile device management (MDM) platforms. They must be a clear communicator with a gift for explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals, possess empathy, patience, and a people-first mindset, and be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of juggling multiple priorities. A security-conscious approach with an eye for scalable systems is also required, along with the ability to travel on a quarterly basis.
Responsibilities
The Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for responding quickly and kindly to IT support requests via Slack, email, or ticketing systems, provisioning laptops, software, and systems, collaborating with HR and Recruiting on onboarding, maintaining clear and helpful IT documentation, troubleshooting issues across macOS and Linux endpoints, monitoring MDMs and security tooling, assisting with offsite A/V setups, and participating in on-call rotations with a positive attitude.
