Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; Master’s in education - Instructional Design strongly preferred
Five (5) plus years of Instructional Design experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid project management skills
Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory
Knowledge of the latest trends in emerging adult distance learning
Strong eLearning design and development background; virtual classroom (webinar/webcast) design and development experience strongly preferred
Detail and deadline oriented; able to complete tasks in accordance with a defined schedule
Ability to work collaboratively, as well as independently
Ability to work on multiple projects and move rapidly from one project to another
Ability to utilize multimedia technology and e-learning authoring tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, Lectora, Snag-It)
No need for immigration sponsorship; must be able to work hybrid schedule (at least three days in office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, up to five days if needed)
Responsibilities
Maintain ownership of all phases of course design and development including needs analysis, development of instructional materials and deployment
Work individually or as part of a team to create and maintain training programs for a wide variety of target audiences
Lead multiple, cross-functional improvement projects to support initiatives or enhance operational effectiveness/customer satisfaction
Manage the design, development and implementation of training programs through the development of training plans, training curriculums and determination of proper instructional methods for program execution
Identify and develop appropriate learning resources including job aids, handbooks, demonstration models, practical learning, role-play exercises, multi-media visual aids and eLearning
Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training courses that support initiatives prioritized by Training Manager; may require analysis and data gathering with SMEs
Create course evaluations to measure effectiveness and modify courses as needed
