  • Commitment to creating engaging and impactful learning experiences across various modalities
  • Ability to stay current on best practices, models, and frameworks in leadership development
  • Knowledge of evidence-based adult learning theories and methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear and compelling learning materials
  • Ability to ensure materials adhere to Medtronic’s branding guidelines and visual identity
  • Availability for onsite work (minimum 4 days a week) in one of: Minneapolis, MN; Irvine, CA; Lafayette, CO; Jacksonville, FL; or Boston, MA

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable leadership curricula for over 10,000 leaders (from supervisors to executives), aligned with the Leadership Essentials model: Care, Inspire, Deliver
  • Incorporate leadership development research, best practices, models, and frameworks into practical, business-relevant learning solutions
  • Apply adult learning principles to transform leadership behaviors through engaging, relevant, and impactful experiences
  • Develop and maintain multi-modal learning solutions (e.g., workshops, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, toolkits, simulations, case studies)
  • Design performance-based learning tools and resources (e.g., coaching guides, on-the-job assignments, action learning projects, peer learning experiences)
  • Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of projects while maintaining standards for instructional design, learner engagement, and business impact
  • Leverage advanced design tools to create learning materials
  • Collaborate with SMEs to understand objectives and content requirements
  • Align visual design of course materials, presentations, and digital assets with Medtronic brand
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and provide guidance/resources to facilitators, managers, and coaches
  • Leverage data for continuous improvement
