Requirements

High energy, can-do and hands-on attitude, strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical and strategic skills
Strong collaboration skills, empathizing with technical and engineering constraints while respectfully challenging teams to elevate design solutions
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field with 5-10 years professional experience
Proficient in design/engineering CAD software such as Rhino, Creo or SolidWorks
Excellent sketching and visualization skills via Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, KeyShot or similar

Responsibilities

Be part of the team that is creating and delivering innovative and consistent design experiences for various product categories
Create concept designs via sketching and computer 2D/3D visualizations to capture solutions for team alignment and evaluation
Generate 3D CAD models of design directions for the creation of UX design prototypes
Create physical mock-ups of designs, or coordinate construction of models with external vendors
Work with engineering teams to integrate UX design activities on projects that enable better collaboration and space for user-centered design & build activities; plan and conduct user-testing to improve or validate designs
