Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, preferably with a focus on population health. They must have proficiency in SQL, including queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, tables, constraints, and SQL query tuning, as well as experience with statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS. Furthermore, they should be proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and have experience mentoring and training junior team members. Strong understanding of healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims data, and public health databases is also required, along with knowledge of VBC, healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

The Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends and patterns in healthcare data, develop and implement advanced statistical models, conduct population health analyses, create and maintain dashboards and reports, provide actionable recommendations to support healthcare strategies, collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, and stay current with industry trends and technologies. They will also communicate findings to stakeholders and contribute to optimizing resource allocation and enhancing patient care.
