Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field of study, along with 5+ years of experience in the automotive or similar industry, and a deep understanding of Radar hardware, Radar DSP, and Radar testing/performance. Experience with multi-domain controllers, secure gateways, or ADAS controller development is preferred, as is familiarity with common vehicle electrical and networking systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.).

Responsibilities

The Senior Radar Component Engineer will be responsible for creating requirements for Radar Components, co-ordinating technical activities and project milestones between internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with multiple teams including Perception, Systems, Mechanical, Vehicle, Manufacturing, Quality, SW, Cybersecurity, Diagnostic, and Reliability, developing and supporting testing for ML based algorithms, developing and leading radar acceptance, performance, and characterization testing, ensuring and supporting vehicle integration efforts, leading root cause analysis and issue resolution, and leading Continuous Improvement Projects for Components.
