Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD).
  • Background in statistics and related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop novel calibration solutions for a diverse sensor suite (camera, radar, lidar, IMU).
  • Design, evangelize, and implement calibration technology solutions to maintain vehicle awareness and calibration state.
  • Leverage C++ to develop complex, scalable, and robust software.
  • Provide coding and design expertise, including code reviews, testing strategies, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team through design reviews, code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.

Additional Information

  • The role involves calibration both pre-customer and post-customer.
  • The challenge is maintaining calibration over the vehicle's lifespan.
  • The lead will shape the vision for calibration across the company and collaborate with key stakeholders within Latitude and Ford.
