Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of computer science concepts (data structures, memory management, algorithm analysis, etc.)
  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript (web and Node.js ecosystem), HTML, CSS, as well as experience with PixiJS, ThreeJS, and Git
  • Knowledge of shaders and experience with WebGL/WebGI
  • Understanding of game design principles
  • Ability to design and implement scalable architectures and abstract technical solutions into reusable components
  • Experience in the game industry & game development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Skills in resource optimization (graphics, sounds, models, etc.)
  • Experience optimizing performance across different devices

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality playable ads that set industry benchmarks
  • Provide regular updates on ongoing tasks and inform risks to stakeholders
  • Propose, design and implement reusable frameworks, tools, and systems to improve the efficiency and scalability of Playables production
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to best practices
  • Conduct and encourage rigorous code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality
  • Collaborate closely with Artists, Creative Directors, Product Marketing Specialists, and Data Analysts to align technical solutions with creative and business objectives
  • Constantly challenge the status quo and drive innovation within the Playables team
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead technical initiatives, and drive improvements to frameworks and processes
  • Shape the technical strategy of the Playables production pipeline, ensuring high-performance, scalable, and creative interactive ads across multiple platforms
