Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a significant portion in full stack roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience as a hands-on coder, capable of building the founding codebase and setting technical direction
  • Willingness to learn new, on-the-job technologies and skillsets to ensure successful outcomes for our startup companies
  • Experience in front-end technologies including frameworks and libraries such as Typescript, JavaScript, React, Next.JS with an understanding of front-end development principles and best practices. Proven capability in developing responsive, scalable frontends and APIs
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization
  • Proven experience in building and managing sites with Webflow and WordPress. Skilled with Webflow’s Designer, CMS, and interactions
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web standards
  • Ability to implement animations and large graphics in a performant, responsive manner, ensuring smooth user experiences across devices and browsers
  • Knowledge of best practices for security and compliance with the ability to implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, develop/shape the founding codebase, and set technical direction for our early-stage startups
  • Build rapid prototypes and demos that can be brought to the customer and ventures markets for feedback
  • Design and implement robust application frontends and services to process and navigate complex data using the latest technologies
  • Engage with product managers, designers, and software engineers to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX implementations
  • Design, develop, and maintain websites for our incubation companies using Webflow and WordPress
  • Create responsive, mobile-friendly UX and ensure cross-browser compatibility
