Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a preference for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. They should have a minimum of four to five years of professional experience in finance or accounting, including budgeting and forecasting within a manufacturing environment, and experience with month-end accounting close and account reconciliation. Strong cost accounting and business modeling skills are also required, along with a conceptual understanding of financial analysis techniques such as discounted cash flow, internal rate of return, and break-even analysis.
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial expertise, analysis, and reporting support to the LBP Division of WRBP – Siding & Trim. This includes analyzing monthly results, supporting the accounting close process, analyzing customer rebates and incentives, assisting with annual budget and monthly forecast preparation, performing performance analysis and reporting, conducting capital investment analysis, and providing ad-hoc business decision support. Specific duties encompass participating in budget preparation, reviewing divisional results and providing variance analysis, maintaining reporting techniques, preparing performance reports, supporting incentive compensation plan development, monitoring business performance against targets, assisting with capital investment analysis, preparing account reconciliations, and providing other financial analysis as needed.
