Candidates should possess a Doctor of Epidemiology (Ph.D.) or equivalent advanced degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of experience in epidemiological research, with a strong focus on Real-World Evidence (RWE). Demonstrated expertise in observational study design, data analysis, and interpretation is essential, along with a thorough understanding of statistical methods and clinical trial principles.
The Senior Epidemiologist RWE will provide scientific strategy consulting to clients, lead early client-facing interactions, and develop strategies to maximize project opportunities. They will oversee project design, protocol development, and final study report creation, delegating tasks to staff and ensuring high-quality, timely scientific deliverables. Furthermore, the role involves generating real-world evidence by designing, implementing, and analyzing observational/non-interventional studies, focusing on disease incidence, burden of disease, treatment patterns, healthcare resource utilization, and adverse event data to support biopharmaceutical companies’ product lifecycle management.
