Requirements

Testing firmware in Embedded C for embedded devices and embedded applications using a Realtime Operating System
Strong knowledge of software validation methodologies
Working knowledge of CAN, I2C, UART, SPI, and networking protocols, including TCP and UDP
Experience working on Microcontroller/Motor Controller using Java Scripting/Python/HTML
Experience with project tracking tools like Jira, GitHub/Microsoft TFS/Azure
Good experience on Kiel compiler (good to have)
Knowledge of validation tools and test equipment like logic analyzer, Oscilloscope, simulation software (good to have)

Responsibilities

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and testcases for complex projects
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tools like Jira
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools and implement in complete scope of project
Create and implement Test process and Continuous Improvement plans
