Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (6+ years) as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on automation and testing
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber)
Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies, including BDD and TDD
Experience with version control systems, primarily Git
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI)
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation
Understanding of AI tools and machine learning applications
Familiarity with Agile practices and experience working in Agile teams
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Utilize automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber to execute and manage automated testing processes
Implement and adhere to testing frameworks and methodologies, including BDD and TDD
Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionalities and requirements, providing feedback on quality and performance
Manage code changes and collaborate using version control systems, primarily Git
Apply knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) to automate deployment processes
Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured
Write and execute SQL queries for data validation
Leverage understanding of AI tools and machine learning to enhance testing processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues using analytical and problem-solving skills
Identify defects with keen attention to detail
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing clear reports and updates on testing progress
Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
