Requirements

  • Able to routinely use technical judgment in solving problems, making routine recommendations, and improving existing work processes
  • Make substantial technical contributions to the success of the department using proven solutions for complex technical problems
  • Listen to customer feedback, recognize opportunities, and provide feedback for technical innovation
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical Dry Systems (e.g., compressed air, vacuum air, compressed dried air, LEV, nitrogen, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical Wet Systems (e.g., cooling towers, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, etc.)
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards

Responsibilities

  • Responsible as a system owner for the designated Facility System and equipment for its operation, maintenance, and engineering
  • Provide support for operational issues, root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action
  • Determine the system mass balance and operate all related systems to optimize
  • Analyze system capabilities and future requirements during scenario evaluations based on manufacturing capacity and demand
  • Support design reviews for base build systems in area of responsibility, ensuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified
  • Support tool install designs for the systems that connect to those tools, ensuring specifications are met and cost reduction improvements are identified
  • Review and support capacity analysis for systems, tracking against actual data from the facility
  • Identify and evaluate risk analysis for systems and propose possible improvements
  • Provide solutions to real-time equipment and process problems
  • Evaluate new or modified equipment based on tools specification requirements and the system capacity study
  • Use, identify, and implement equipment and process control methods
  • Develop and implement long-term improvements in equipment or processes that result in cost reduction, improved reliability, and safety improvements
  • Identify root cause from excursion or abnormal operation and conduct analytical improvement and lessons learnt as part of preventive actions
  • Identify and evaluate interactions between equipment and processes and resolve potential problems
  • Ensure compliance of all facility equipment in accordance to regulations
  • Ensure compliance of daily activity in facility within the regulatory permissible limit
  • Responsible for reducing costs associated within the area
