Requirements

5-10 years of experience in various protocols for interoperability, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting issues of radio access technology
Good experience in RAN (5G) Testing and Feature testing (Lab testing)
Hands-on experience in using wireless test tools such as QXDM, TM500, Channel Emulator, etc
Knowledge of message flows and parameters used in the messages for 5G NR procedures
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl
Familiarity in creating complex test plans spanning 5G/4G features and root causing issues
Automation and Scripting is priority for this role

Responsibilities

Go through 3GPP standards, architecture, and design documents to create thorough and in-depth test plans for testing 5G NR
Develop plans to test PHY/Stack algorithms from an end-to-end perspective
Create test scripts using available test tools, including familiarizing with tools and figuring out innovative ways to re-create practically possible scenarios
Build simple/complex test setups as per the requirements of the test cases
Create test plans on 5G NR features by following 3GPP and ORAN standards
Execute test cases and validate test status based on expectations
Fully understand system logs, test tool logs, and use this for debugging issues and identifying accurate root causes
Use test expertise to identify overall improvements and enhancements possible on the system
Debug field log/data, identify potential problems, and re-create them in the lab
Strategize and implement new and efficient ways to streamline QA test planning and strategy
Quickly root cause customer issues, replicate customer configs in lab environment in limited time, and work rapidly to solve customer issues
Be hands-on with K8S deployment, adapt deployment models to suit different platforms, and work with stakeholders to stabilize setups
