Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in outdoor and indoor substations, preferably 330kV or higher (ideally 500kV)
Proficiency across various aspects of substation projects including design, engineering, construction, and testing & commissioning

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee engineering activities, including technical, inspection, scheduling, planning, procurement, and quality control
Support the Project Manager in ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Plan, organize, and oversee the project scope, schedule, and resource management to ensure efficient execution of EHV substation projects
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders at the site level to facilitate smooth project operations
Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, codes, regulations, and industry construction practices throughout project implementation
Monitor and drive the execution/completion of projects within designated schedules and budget constraints, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Uphold compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements, maintaining high standards of project performance
Provide leadership in managing, supervising, and mentoring the site team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture
Actively resolve any issues, conflicts, or disputes that may arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining project momentum
