Requirements

Electrical Engineering degree, preferably with a chartered engineer qualification or equivalent
Previous proven experience in an industrial operation engineering position (preferably 15+ years)
Background in maintenance support and electrical engineering in a process industry environment, preferably in industrial gases, oil, petrochemical, or chemical industries
Proven knowledge of and experience with condition-based monitoring equipment and predictive maintenance techniques on HV motors, HV transformers, HV/LV switchgear, and electrical drives
Proven experience in maintenance and testing of HV motors, HV transformers, HV and LV switchgear, and secondary testing of protection relays
Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and legislations (IEC, GOST, ATEX, etc.)
Knowledge and experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and reporting findings and recommendations
Ability to facilitate and advise on reliability-focused maintenance efforts, perform physical failure analysis
Knowledge of condition-based monitoring/predictive maintenance technologies and hands-on experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
Self-motivated with a high degree of personal accountability for results
Leadership qualities and ability to cope with a broad range of responsibilities and levels of technical and non-technical conversations
Good command/effective operational proficiency in both English and Uzbek and/or Russian languages
Based in the UK or Uzbekistan (UK candidates require frequent business trips to Uzbekistan)

Responsibilities

Provide a high level of expertise in all aspects of electrical work on Air Products operating sites
Provide technical support for the trouble-free operation of facilities, including resolutions to ad-hoc complex electrical problems in a safe and timely manner (mainly remotely, occasional site visits)
Knowledge of and experience with electrical equipment: electrical protection relays, low voltage and high voltage distribution systems, large induction and synchronous motors on safe and hazardous area plants, VFDs, WAGO PLC, IEC-61850, transformers, UPSs, inverters, and frequency drives
Knowledge of electrical engineering design along with legal requirements for installation, commissioning, and safe operation of electrical systems and equipment
Provide technical assistance to the Maintenance department and feedback to Air Products' global electrical engineering and design groups
Ensure compliance with Air Products and local electrical safety regulations and legislations
Assist in development of local electrical safety operation procedures
Incident reporting and investigations in support of plant management
Good understanding and compliance with management of change procedures
