Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the aerospace or satellite industry
  • U.S. Person Status – Must be a U.S. Person to access export-controlled data
  • Designing and developing avionics systems, electrical circuits, and subsystems
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., Altium, LTSpice, PCB design tools)
  • Strong problem-solving skills – Ability to analyze complex electrical and avionics engineering problems and implement effective troubleshooting techniques
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Responsibilities

  • Developing electrical architecture and design for satellite platforms
  • Defining and documenting product requirements
  • Selecting appropriate electrical components
  • Performing electrical analysis and simulations
  • Creating schematics and comprehensive documentation
  • Participating in flight production, development prototyping, and vendor selection
  • Supporting manufacturing processes
  • Conducting circuit and full product bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Performing confidence, acceptance, and qualification testing
  • Ensuring timely delivery of hardware
  • Maintaining project schedules and providing status reports
  • Conducting integration testing and data review
  • Coordinating with software, firmware, mechanical, PCB layout, environments, integration, harnessing, test, manufacturing, and production teams
  • Driving improvements in reliability and capabilities while minimizing cost and schedule
