Senior Electrical Engineer at Valdes Architecture and Engineering

The Senior Electrical Engineer will perform electrical design, including I&C specifications and selection, assist staff with completing engineering packages on time and within budget, analyze and design electrical packages for clients, prepare instrumentation specifications, conduct substation design and short circuit analysis, perform arc flash studies, design lighting and grounding systems, develop wiring diagrams and schematics, apply medium to high voltage transformers and uninterruptible power systems, design conduit, cable tray, and underground duct banks, and interface with utilities. They will also develop P&IDs, instrument selection specifications, control valve sizing, instrument loop diagrams, system architecture, control system hardware specifications, and sequence of operation documents, as well as communicate complicated issues in a simple manner and multi-task while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
