Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a game economist or systems designer
  • Deep understanding of F2P mobile game economies, monetization design, and progression balancing, preferably in midcore or RPG titles
  • Data-literate and comfortable building hypotheses, running experiments, and iterating based on insights
  • Creative mindset with a strong sense for systems thinking and player motivations
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, able to manage multiple systems and adapt quickly to feedback or shifting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a smart, engaging in-game economy for Cup Heroes, including soft and hard currencies, upgrade systems, reward loops, and monetization flow
  • Design A/B testing strategies to optimize economic systems and difficulty pacing across the player journey
  • Collaborate with game designers to create balanced meta systems that support long-term progression and retention
  • Set best practices for economy design, tracking, and balancing, working closely with the product and data teams
  • Actively contribute to the game’s overall direction by blending economic insight with creative thinking
