Requirements

  • Unemployment industry expert with 10+ years of experience and thorough understanding of UI industry intricacies
  • 8+ years of proven leadership experience in unemployment management or relevant operations area
  • 10+ years of experience in processing claims, coordinating and representation at unemployment hearings, UI State Integrity laws
  • Prior experience managing a diverse group of tenured and experienced unemployment professionals
  • Ability to support and grow the existing team and drive their continued success

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Unemployment Claims Management team to achieve individual, team, and company goals
  • Maintain continued improvements of the unemployment claims processing system to drive automation and customer-facing enhancements
  • Lead and manage the team facilitating strong execution of power of attorney documents on behalf of clients; provide proactive review and analysis to maximize program effectiveness
  • Establish, build relationships, and collaborate with internal teams such as Customer Success, Product, Implementation, Sales, Finance, and Marketing
  • Establish, build relationships, and collaborate with external partners such as clients, NASWA, and individual state workforce agencies (SWAs)
  • Communicate at all levels to deliver high-quality client service consistent with Experian operational standards and practices
  • Independently tackle multiple tasks and manage responsibilities for self and team(s)
  • Consistently achieve productivity and performance measurements
  • Lead change, anticipate impacts on other teams, utilize effective change management tools and processes, and facilitate scoping and process with them
  • Assess client needs and ensure the correct service team is in place to develop customized partnerships with each client
  • Lead the Unemployment Client Delivery Team (currently 100 staff members) to provide industry-leading customer service, timely and accurate processing of unemployment claims, and coordination/representation of unemployment hearings for Fortune 500 companies
