Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in risk management, strategy, or related disciplines, ideally in fast-moving, high-growth, or regulated environments
  • A builder and doer, comfortable defining strategy one day and executing details the next
  • Skilled at connecting the dots across functions and turning insights into action
  • Strong communicator who can influence across all levels and distill complex risks into practical recommendations
  • Familiar with regulatory and industry standards (OCC, FFIEC, NIST, etc.), but able to adapt frameworks pragmatically to fit Flex’s needs
  • Background in consulting, enterprise risk, or startup environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build and Evolve Risk Capabilities: Develop and continuously improve the frameworks, tools, and rhythms that help Flex identify, assess, and mitigate key risks, from operational challenges to vendor dependencies to strategic initiatives
  • Embed Risk Thinking Across the Business: Partner cross-functionally to integrate risk awareness into everyday decisions. Influence teams to think proactively about resilience, readiness, and responsible growth
  • Drive Execution and Accountability: Don’t just identify risks, own them. Push for practical solutions, track progress, and ensure mitigation plans translate into real, measurable impact
  • Lead Core Risk Activities: Oversee critical programs such as risk assessments, incident reviews, control testing, issue tracking, and executive reporting, bringing structure, consistency, and transparency to Flex’s risk posture
  • Communicate with Impact: Deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership. Simplify complex issues and surface what matters most to drive smarter, faster decisions
  • Strengthen Organizational Resilience: Enhance business continuity, vendor oversight, and operational response processes to ensure Flex can anticipate, absorb, and adapt to disruptions with confidence
