Requirements

  • Dynamic, hands-on leadership balancing operational rigor with client delivery needs
  • Experience leading teams of project managers, program managers, and resource deployment managers (RDMs)
  • Expertise in PMO standards, methodologies, project management delivery frameworks, and governance
  • Proficiency with professional services automation (PSA) tools and delivery platforms (e.g., OpenAir, Jira, Smartsheet)
  • Ability to forecast demand, optimize resource allocation, and manage capacity planning/utilization
  • Skills in process optimization, automation, risk assessment/mitigation, and continuous improvement
  • Experience defining KPIs, reporting on business performance (utilization, delivery quality, margin, client satisfaction), and establishing escalation procedures
  • Strong people management capabilities including performance reviews, coaching, career development, and mentoring
  • Partnership experience with senior/Executive Leadership Team (ELT) for strategic alignment, transparency, and organizational change initiatives
  • Ability to foster collaboration across business units and serve as a liaison for project portfolio performance

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the PMO’s strategic vision, aligning with organizational goals and Advisory Services priorities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, program managers, and RDMs
  • Manage performance reviews, coaching, and career development for the team
  • Foster collaboration across Advisory Services and with other business units
  • Serve as primary liaison between PMO and ELT, ensuring transparency and timely communication on project portfolio performance
  • Partner with ELT to define, plan, and implement organizational change initiatives
  • Own PMO standards, methodologies, and project management delivery frameworks for consistent execution
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices enterprise-wide, ensuring adherence
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and best practices adoption
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate enterprise-level risks; escalate critical issues with solutions and contingency plans
  • Leverage PSA tools and delivery platforms to improve transparency and efficiency
  • Develop and deliver training programs for project and resource management teams
  • Ensure successful execution of Advisory projects within time, scope, and budget constraints
  • Oversee project delivery quality, client satisfaction, and risk management across engagements
  • Support standardization and templatization of delivery engagements
  • Develop and maintain delivery retrospectives to capture lessons learned for organizational change management
  • Establish and enforce project governance, reporting, and escalation procedures
  • Manage resource capacity planning, utilization targets, and deployment strategy
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery leaders to forecast demand and align staffing
  • Define and report on KPIs including utilization, delivery quality, margin, and client satisfaction
